Fresh Leadership Rooted in Idaho Falls

Endorsements From Our Community

Idaho State Senator

Dave Lent

Lisa Burtenshaw's work on the school board shows her commitment to this community. I served with her for many years and admired her ability to see what needed to change...and then do the hard work to get big projects across the finish line.

Four elementary schools exist today because Lisa worked with parents, patrons, and the board to create safe places for kids to learn. She listened. She problem-solved. She balanced what students needed with what taxpayers could afford.

Lisa knows Idaho Falls, and Idaho Falls needs her experience. I proudly endorse Lisa for the positive change she will bring to our city.

Vote Lisa Burtenshaw in the runoff on Tuesday, December 2nd!

Farr's Candy Co-Owner

Kevin Call

My grandfather started Farr's Candy and Ice Cream Company in 1911, right here in Idaho Falls. Since then, we've learned one simple truth: to succeed in Idaho Falls, you have to be willing to show up and get to work.

That is why I am supporting Lisa Burtenshaw for Mayor of Idaho Falls.

Lisa is someone who consistently shows up for this city. I've worked beside her on service projects. I've watched as she hears about an issue and immediately goes to work to fix it.

A service-oriented, hardworking mayor is exactly what we need, and that is exactly what we will have in Lisa Burtenshaw!

Join me on December 2nd and vote for Lisa Burtenshaw for Mayor!

Lt. Governor of Idaho

Scott Bedke

I am proud to endorse Lisa Burtenshaw for Mayor of Idaho Falls.

Lisa is more than just a leader who understands agriculture, she is a proven advocate. When the agricultural community faced the critical water challenges in the summer of 2024, Lisa was on the front lines, working tirelessly to protect our farmers and ranchers. This is the proactive leadership Idaho Falls needs.

Idaho Falls needs new leadership, and Lisa is the change agent ready to deliver. She will ensure our farmers and ranchers always have a strong, influential voice at the table.

For every voter who values our agricultural heritage and demands forward-thinking leadership, the choice is clear.

Vote Lisa Burtenshaw for Mayor of Idaho Falls.

For the People

Serving People, Not the System

The Mayor doesn’t work for “the City.” The Mayor works for you.

My job is to make city government:

  • Easy to understand
  • Accountable to the public
  • Focused on excellent service for every resident and business owner

That means breaking down barriers, improving communication, and creating a culture where you don’t need an org chart to get things done.

Strong Relationships Build Strong Communities

We support and partner with:

  • Greater Idaho Falls Chamber
  • Local nonprofits
  • School districts
  • Community events like the Duck Race, UTV Light Parade, Fireworks, Farmers Market, Alive After 5, Riverfest, & MORE!

We don’t just cut ribbons. We show up, pitch in, and follow through.

Thriving Neighborhoods for Everyone

We're not creating sprawl. We're building communities.

Every neighborhood deserves:

  • Nearby parks
  • A local school or church
  • Strong public safety presence
  • Safe bicycle/pedestrian pathways and crosswalks

That’s how we keep Idaho Falls livable, lovable, and secure.

For Our Community

Clear Priorities. Smart Execution.

We can’t do everything, but we can do the most important things well.

This campaign is about getting the basics right:

  • Streets and utilities that serve a growing population
  • Confidence and trust in public safety
  • Investments that reflect your values

Planned Growth. Resilient Infrastructure.

Idaho Falls is growing, and because we planned ahead, we’re ready for it:

  • New water tower (2x capacity)
  • Modern sewer and odor control systems
  • New fire and EMS stations north and south
  • New Police Complex, the first building owned and operated specifically for Idaho Falls Police
  • Resident-owned utilities keeping power affordable and reliable

Growth is coming. We’ll make sure the infrastructure leads, not lags.

Transportation That Moves Us Forward

We’ve added flights at IDA, hired a traffic engineer to improve flow, and are preparing for the US 20/I-15 interchange moving north.

We’ll ensure:

  • Better neighborhood connectivity
  • Integrated surface streets and trail systems
  • Commitment to regional planning and construction of our major roadways

Idaho Summers Are Worth the Winters

We survive long winters for Idaho’s magical summers, and we’re going to keep them special.

From Movies in the Park to fireworks over the Snake River, we’ll keep investing in what makes our community come alive:

  • Riverwalk trails
  • Canal paths
  • Summer festivals
  • All-ages events that bring us together

For Our Businesses

Partners in Progress: INL & Agriculture

INL is a national asset and a local anchor. Let’s keep showing up for their mission.

Smart growth also means respecting our agricultural roots. That means thoughtful development that preserves farmland and avoids high-density housing without adequate schools, parks, or grocery access.

We can grow, and still stay grounded.

Regional Hub with a Strong Economy

Idaho Falls is no longer just a gateway city, but being a great destination means being a great host.

We’ll coordinate with local hotels, parks, public safety, restaurants, and businesses to make sure every guest wants to come back, and every resident feels proud of what we’re building.

Transparent Budgets. Taxpayer Respect.

Every resident deserves to know where their tax dollars go.

We’ll send out a simple annual postcard that breaks down city spending in plain English, because your trust matters, and transparency is non-negotiable.

Health & Safety

Idaho Falls is a regional center for healthcare. Healthy outcomes often start with Idaho Falls' first responders.

  • Fire
  • Police
  • Public Works
  • Idaho Falls Power
  • Idaho Falls Fiber

They show up for us day and night, and in every season. We will continue to support them, because we know training and equipment are not a one-time investment.

Join Us

Idaho Falls deserves leadership that listens, leads, and delivers.

Let’s build something lasting together.
